Job Requirements & Duties
Perform cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time.
Ensure staffing, paperwork, cost controls, and cash control compliance.
Manage food preparation and scheduling.
Maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards.
Deliver great customer service, attendance, and punctuality.
Provide reliable transportation to and from work.
Keep the store clean, market the store, and ensure profitability.
Qualifications
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Complete orientation and training on the job.
Communicate effectively with customers and co‑workers.
Essential Functions / Skills
Perform accurate arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Possess motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
Sudden temperature changes while inside or outside.
Fumes from food odors.
Exposure to cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
Stand most tasks from a standing position.
Walk short distances for short durations.
Work on surfaces such as ceramic tile, bricks, linoleum in food process areas (height 36‑48 inches).
Complete paperwork at a desk or table.
Lifting bulk product deliveries (cases up to 50 lb) with hand truck; lift and stack items on shelves up to 72 ft high.
Carry large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (up to 30 lb), and trays of pizza dough (12 lb per tray).
Push and pull trays on dollies, requiring force up to 7.5 lb.
Climb stairs or ladder to change prices, wash walls, perform maintenance.
Stooped, bent, crouched, and squatted as necessary; reach up/down/forward; perform hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination.
