Responsibilities
Assist the nurse in completing patient care activities, taking into consideration the patient’s developmental levels.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, accept delegated tasks, ask questions and report patient information as indicated.
Appropriately handle patient information ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
Comply with the safety management program to provide a physical environment free of hazards and reduce the risk of injury.
Act as a change agent to meet the rapidly changing census and needs of all customers, both internal and external.
Education and Certification
GED or High School diploma (required).
CPR – BLS certificate required within 2 weeks of hire.
Schedule and Location Dayton Children’s – Main Campus, Emergency Department – Main Campus. Full time, 36 hours per week, Full Time Evening Shift 11a-11p.
