Experienced Line Cook – DiamondHead Beach Resort Responsible for preparing a variety of foods (meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items), using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and an variety of other kitchen equipment according to company standardized recipes. Performs other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates. Handles, stores and rotates all products properly while maintaining a sanitary work station, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations of FL state, maintaining current state food handlers certificate.
Qualifications Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Must have full range of motion in arms, fingers, hands, and legs. Ability to lift, push or pull minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to work in hot, damp environment. Previous Prep or Line Cook experience in high volume and full-service Restaurant/ F&B Outlet required. A flexible schedule is required including days, nights, holidays and weekends as required.
