Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiology exams and position them properly.
Operate radiologic equipment to obtain high‑quality images while minimizing radiation dose.
Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Maintain documentation and address equipment malfunctions.
Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.
Physical Requirements
Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $32.00 Maximum hourly: $32.00
