Responsibilities
Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Re‑assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings, and participate in family conferences.
Conduct discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety measures, and provide referrals and education resources.
Communicate patient needs and progress to treatment team, physicians, service recipients, and families.
Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapist.
Current CPR Certification.
At least one year of work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds; lifting up to 100 pounds safely following procedures.
Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and capability to walk/stand for extended periods.
Physical tasks including pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning.
Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.
