MercyOne North Iowa is the largest provider of health care services in the region and the largest employer in Cerro Gordo County. Our hospital is a private, not-for-profit health care center licensed for 346 beds that serves more than 400,000 patients each year. MercyOne North Iowa is a teaching institution offering a Family Medicine Residency, Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, and a School of Radiologic Technology. As a Mammography Supervisor, you will assist in the development of the Mercy Way initiatives, technical aspects, quality control programs, and regulatory compliance of the Radiology Department with special focus on mammography, diagnostic radiology, bone densitometry, and stereotactic biopsy. 36 hours a week 8 hour shifts Day shift – Monday – Friday Responsibilities
Assist in the development of the Mercy Way initiatives and the regulatory compliance of the Radiology Department with a special focus on mammography, diagnostic radiology, bone densitometry, and stereotactic biopsy. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or willingness to obtain with 5 years of experience Maintains current & active ARRT registry status Maintains current state of employment permit to practice Radiology Technologist License Must be willing to obtain certification in mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and bone densitometry 3 years radiology experience Proof of completion of mandatory reporter abuse training specific to population served within six (6) months of hire & renewal every 5 years Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintains current status Benefits
