The Lot Attendant is charged with moving trucks and organizing the lot to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, increase customer convenience, and maintain an orderly service area. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Service Advisors by greeting customers on the drive and moving vehicles through the lot as quickly as possible. Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and tags in all vehicles taken in for service. Inspect for and record on the repair order any vehicle damage present when the vehicle is taken in for service. Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot and move them from the Service Drive in a timely manner. Deliver the keys and repair order hard copies as instructed by the Service Manager after parking a vehicle in the service parking lot. Keep all vehicles in the service parking lot locked and roll up all windows. Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the Service Department. Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the Cashier. Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been done during the vehicle’s stay in the Service Department and report any damage to management immediately. Before returning a completed vehicle to a customer, remove the seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tabs installed when the vehicle was taken in for service. Inspect the vehicle for grease spots or any other stains or debris left by the Service Department and clean them immediately using the materials and techniques specified by management. When delivering completed vehicles to their owners, thank them in a friendly and courteous manner and let them know that their business is appreciated. Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner and keep parking areas free of debris at all times, continuously rearranging vehicles for easy accessibility. Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in common areas of the facilities. Perform limited grounds maintenance such as trimming hedges and cleaning sidewalks. Other duties as assigned by management. Knowledge Requirements
Valid Driver’s License (CDL a plus) Proven track record of achieving or over‑achieving goals. Outstanding communication skills. Professional appearance and work ethic. Great attitude with a high‑energy personality. Superior customer service skills. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
