Overview Organizes and administers nursing service in the assigned specialty area by assisting in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care. Functions in staff role as needed. Assumes managerial duties as delegated by OR Manager. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in all aspects of the position. Responsible for the orientation of new coworkers and permanent team members in conjunction with the Resource Coordinator and the OR Nurse Clinician. Supports continuous improvement of quality and service to ensure Mercy's goal of excellence in clinical outcomes and satisfaction of those we serve. Demonstrates fairness, integrity and compassion in interactions.

Qualifications
Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years RN OR experience
Required Education: Graduate from an accredited RN program
Preferred Education: BSN
Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
