Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pm
As a
Teacher Assistant
at Apple Montessori Schools, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity. As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity Model appropriate social behavior and actively engage with students Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs What Apple Montessori Schools can offer you:

High School Diploma or GED CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire A genuine love of children. Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children An understanding of health and safety guidelines. Capacity to multi-task and function in an ever-changing environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
