Job Summary The Member Services Representative will create a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet members, prospective members and guests with exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activity: answer phones, check members into the system, process new member sign‑ups, conduct tours.
Facilitate account updates and respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, elevating to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Help maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness.
Qualifications / Requirements
Customer service background preferred.
Basic computer proficiency.
Passion for fitness and health.
Upbeat, positive attitude.
Punctual and reliable.
Excellent customer‑service skills to exceed member expectations.
Strong listening, empathy, problem‑solving and diplomatic communication skills.
High School diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
Continual standing and walking during shift.
Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
