This post requires driving and carrying a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities. Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location. Document and report security‑related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance issues as required. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary. Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential risks and promote a secure environment for residents and visitors. Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of security‑related experience. A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor/manager or 3 years of security‑related experience. An armed guard card or license. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
