About the Program Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) provides housing and supportive services to families, veterans, low‑income seniors, people with developmental disabilities, and others. Programs include restorative justice, HIV testing and education, and community-based activities.
Job Summary & Responsibilities The Recovery Support Technician transports program participants to and from court, medical appointments, program activities, treatment, and other services. Duties may also include supporting events at the Recovery Community Center, managing the van log, monitoring client safety, and completing required documentation.
Transport participants to meetings, groups, and appointments.
Maintain operational control of facility when senior staff absent.
Ensure client compliance with VOA policies.
Maintain van sign‑in/sign‑out log.
Monitor clients in van and facility, report safety hazards.
Complete required documentation and attend training and supervision.
Perform PQI duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Minimum 1 year of sobriety.
Background check and driver record check required.
