Base Pay Range $15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Job Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing all linens, towels, and cleaning rags for the Lodging Department. This role ensures linens are cleaned to standard, properly stocked, and readily available to support daily lodging operations.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Wash, dry, fold, and sort all linens, towels, and cleaning rags according to established procedures

Collect, remove, and sort dirty linens and towels from designated laundry bags

Identify, separate, and treat stained items as needed

Prepare clean laundry bags for housekeeping that include required linens and towels

Stock shelves and storage areas with clean, organized linens

Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently

Monitor linen and cleaning supply inventory and notify the Lodging Manager of shortages or needs

Inspect linens for damage or excessive wear and report items needing replacement

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free laundry room

Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe work habits for the protection of guests and team members

Assist with general housekeeping or lodging support tasks as needed

Clean and maintain bathhouse facilities multiple times per day to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests.

Perform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Qualifications / Requirements

Strong verbal communication skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, and reach as part of daily job functions

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Minimum Age Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, use hands to operate equipment, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Work Environment This position regularly works indoors and is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be exposed to confined spaces and elevated work areas.
