GEMS- TBS (The British School El-Rehab) is seeking a passionate and experienced
Primary Teacher
to join our Primary Department for the
Academic Year 2026–2027 . The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the British Curriculum and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Important note:
The position is based in
Cairo, Egypt , and we are looking for candidates who are willing to
relocate .
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British Curriculum
Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom learning environment
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively
Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
Participate in school meetings, CPD, and extracurricular activities
Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or a related field
Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience (British Curriculum preferred)
Passion for teaching and commitment to student development
Ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment
