Solar Technician (Contract, W2 Only)
Pay: $25.50 per hour on W2. Onsite work. Visa sponsorship available. No C2C.
Supporting the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility‑scale solar facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on solar equipment
Perform pad‑mounted transformer switching in accordance with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
Execute corrective maintenance tasks on solar generation equipment
Work scheduled shifts during the week and participate in on‑call coverage as required by management
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and compliance at all times
Work outdoors for extended periods under varying weather conditions
Complete and maintain EH&S documentation
Accurately complete required paperwork, including work orders, timesheets, tool & PPE inventories, and additional documentation as required
Participate in and complete all required pre‑job briefs prior to work execution
Exposure to electrical and mechanical systems
Require strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures
