Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Success Advisor who will play a pivotal role in guiding students throughout their academic journey. In this position, you will be instrumental in helping students overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and develop their potential within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with students to foster a positive learning atmosphere
Provide individualized academic and career guidance tailored to each student's needs and aspirations
Monitor student attendance and performance, proactively identifying those needing additional support
Assist students in navigating campus resources and academic services to promote their success
Collaborate with faculty to create and implement intervention strategies for at-risk students
Conduct orientation sessions and workshops to inform and engage students with available resources
Document student interactions and track progress to evaluate academic outcomes
Organize and promote engagement activities to enhance student community and career readiness
Requirements
Experience in student advising, education, or related fields preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse student body
Understanding of the academic challenges students face and strategies to support them
Collaborative approach to working with faculty and staff to enhance student success
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Passion for student advocacy and genuine interest in the beauty industry

A Rewarding and Dynamic Work Environment
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
