Registered Nurse (RN) – Full‑time/Part‑time – All Shifts
North Shore Health invites you to apply for the Registered Nurse (RN) role at our full‑time and part‑time positions available across all shifts. The position offers competitive wages up to $50.75 per hour based on shift and experience, flexible shift hours with limited weekend availability, and a 5‑star building environment recognized by CMS.
Summary of Position Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to North Shore’s policies, maintains a safe environment, and supervises nursing assistants and helpers. The RN follows the State Nurse Practice Act and applicable JCAHO standards.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents/patients, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and evaluation.
Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing assistants and helpers.
Maintain accurate documentation and strictly follow all North Shore policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to deliver high quality patient care.
Assist in the provision of teaching, support, and advocacy for residents, families, and staff.
Encounter emergency situations, respond promptly, and initiate appropriate interventions.
Qualifications
Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
Current CPR certification.
Ability to use essential supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, medication carts, etc.).
Proficient in drug dosage calculations.
Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn company applications.
Experience in skilled nursing preferred; new graduates welcomed and will receive training.
Ability to demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a positive, respectful attitude toward residents and staff.
