In this role you will work closely with the HR Manager and Operations clients to provide comprehensive administrative, transactional, and HR support across our theme‑park environment.

Job Description The HR Coordinator will perform a broad range of HR and administrative duties in support of the Human Resources team and the larger Theme Park client. The position reports to the Manager, Human Resources and offers visibility into employee relations within the specialty HR function at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide timely support to all client inquiries and resolve issues, including time‑card corrections, SAP system questions, leave of absence, status changes, separations, and related follow‑up paperwork.

Act as the primary user for various payroll platforms and process SAP HR transactions such as onboarding, off‑boarding, exit interviews, workflow forms, regular and ad‑hoc reporting, and data validation.

Partner with the Timekeeper team on payroll problems and resolutions. Work closely with HRIS to resolve SAP issues and maintain accurate employee data.

Process data changes, promotions, time‑keeping actions, and termination paperwork.

Learn HR policies and practices and be prepared to answer or refer employee questions regarding Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, Employee Perks, PTO, Company Policies, etc.

Maintain and update job descriptions for client groups.

Provide backup coverage and support for the HR team and additional areas as needed.

Maintain confidentiality and discretion with regard to all matters, data, and documents due to the high level of access to confidential and business information.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; Human Resources, Business, Communication or related field preferred.

1+ year of Human Resources experience.

Experience in non‑union and union/represented environments in retail or hospitality preferred.

Accountable, critical thinker, and capable of presenting ideas with courage.

SAP or HRIS experience preferred.

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Hybrid Work Arrangements This position has been designated as hybrid, requiring in‑office presence at Universal City, CA a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time. This role may require overtime and/or weekend work with short notice when needed.

Benefits and Salary The role is eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000.
