Luna Point Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team at 400 Milestone Blvd, Cantonment, FL 32533. We’re opening the doors to a brand‑new dental practice and we’re looking for a patient‑focused, team‑spirited professional from day one. Job Responsibilities
Provide patient education and preventive care to patients
Perform dental hygiene procedures, screen patients, and maintain accurate documentation
Work collaboratively with the practice team to ensure patients receive the time and attention they need, deserve, and desire
Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in FL and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
CPR certification
Preferred Experience
Open to new graduate or years of clinical experience
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients’ needs and provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
Clinical needs as required by the office
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office/doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
Prolonged periods sitting and standing
Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions; test arranged during pre‑employment process
