Position Summary Cambrian College’s Schools of Health Sciences and Emergency Services requires part‑time Professors to teach within the Medical Laboratory Assistant and Technology Programs beginning in January 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities Individuals will teach in one or more of the following courses:

Lab Mathematics

Lab Techniques in Microbiology

Qualifications

Minimum of a three‑year advanced diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. (Applicants with education completed outside of Canada must submit a WES or ICAS equivalence with their application.)

Must be registered as a practicing MLT in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario.

Five years of recent experience within a laboratory setting.

Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and students.

Computer literacy, including proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into course delivery.

Ability to work within a team environment.

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.

Additional Assets / Preferred

Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level.

Adult education certificate.

Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Science or Education).

Required Information

WES/ICAS equivalence if degrees/diplomas are from a non‑Canadian university.

Copy of CMLTO current registration.
