Financial Additions is searching for an experienced Accounting Analyst to support the day-to-day accounting functions for a great oil and gas company in north Dallas. This is a hybrid role that will be client-facing and reporting to the controller.

Responsibilities include:

Process accounts payable, vendor set-up, and research discrepancies

Prepare and send client invoices, statements, and rate increase notifications

Maintain project billing rates and associate timesheets

Reivew and process employee expense reports and timesheets

Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and usage summaries

Enter journal entries and perform GL account reconciliations

Apply payments and make bank deposits

Provide general administrative and recordkeeping support

Qualifications include

5-6 years in an accounting or finance position performing day-to day accounting duties

Proficiency using Sage Intacct is a plus; proficiency using Excel and financial reporting tools is required

Hands-on knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes

Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to respond effectively and professionally to clients’ requests

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business not required, but a plus
