Job Summary As an Operations Controller you will be responsible for accounting activities within assigned accounts and assist the Regional Director of Finance with all regional financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all cash handling procedures
Perform reconciliation and analysis for balance sheet accounts
Analyze financial results for internal and external use
Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity
Develop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities
Review general ledger and balance sheets
Resolve various accounting/reconciliation issues
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; manage report preparation and distribution
Maintain inventory and cost control procedures
Administer payroll and human resources functions
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field
Experience managing financials for multi‑unit operations
Robust experience managing P&L and fee contracts
Minimum five years of revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling experience
Accounting experience in foodservice or retail industry; foodservice operations experience a plus
Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and analyses
Adept at planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes and analyzing moderately complex financial information
Experience with POS, cash, and credit card reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment
