Key Responsibilities
Lead the tax practice and oversee day‑to‑day operations of the tax department, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality deliverables across a diverse portfolio of clients.
Serve as the primary advisor for high‑value clients, delivering strategic tax planning, compliance, and consulting services tailored to each client’s unique goals.
Review and sign off on complex tax returns, including partnerships (Form 1065), C‑corporations (1120), S‑corporations (1120S), and sole proprietorships (Schedule C); ensure all work aligns with the latest tax code and regulatory changes.
Leverage existing relationships and market insights to attract new clients, expand service offerings, and grow the firm’s revenue base.
Identify and implement proactive tax strategies to help clients minimize risk, enhance profitability, and remain in compliance.
Provide guidance and mentorship to staff at all levels; develop talent and promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and client service.
Work closely with audit, advisory, and operations leaders to deliver integrated solutions and maximize client value.
Contribute to the overall direction of the firm by participating in strategic planning, partner meetings, and long‑term initiatives.
