Position Overview and Purpose
This role will be responsible for loading, unloading, stacking, sorting and segregating, and case picking product. The role may operate a pallet jack to accomplish some of the tasks above. Essential Function and Basic Duties
Follow proper handling procedure for products within the facility Work with accuracy and attention to detail on product orders Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards Palletize goods and materials to put on trucks for transportation Coordinate and teamwork with fellow warehouse employees and leaders to successfully complete assigned tasks Perform other duties as needed Basic Qualifications
High school graduate or GED from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Capable of learning and retaining the skills needed to work in a safe, productive manner Work independently as well as in a team Solid work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work overtime and weekends occasionally as required Ability to multitask, prioritize, and change direction mid-stream Job Level Qualifications
Warehouse Operator I:
0-2 years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required. Stand Up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not required. Warehouse Operator II:
3-4 years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required. Stand Up Forklift experience required. Experience using other MHE equipment preferred but not required. Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I level as needed for coverage. Warehouse Operator III:
5 years or more years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required. Reach truck experience required. Must possess the skills to cross train Warehouse Operator I and II employees as necessary to fulfill customer demands and maintain warehouse efficiency and productivity. Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I or II as needed for coverage. Must be comfortable working at multiple height levels within a warehouse environment.
