How You’ll Work
Location : Onsite in Erlanger, KY
Travel : Travel may be required; varies by role
Compensation : This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the salary wage range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position between $71,995-$115,215 per year. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location.
Benefits : Comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; prescription drug and telemedicine services; company‑paid life and disability insurance; retirement savings with company match; paid time off, holidays, and parental leave; plus additional voluntary benefits and employee discounts.

About the Role CRST’s maintenance operations are critical to delivering safe, reliable transportation across our network. Our shops support a wide range of equipment and operating models, requiring strong leadership, operational discipline, and a relentless focus on safety and quality.
As a Manager – Service, you’ll own the day‑to‑day and financial performance of an assigned maintenance shop. You’ll lead supervisors, foremen, and technicians, manage the shop‑level budget, and ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with CRST standards and business goals.
What You’ll Do
Own the operational and financial performance of an assigned maintenance shop
Lead, coach, and develop shop leadership and technicians, including hiring and performance management
Manage labor and operating costs while driving productivity and quality outcomes
Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements
Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements to optimize shop operations
Partner with Operations and other stakeholders to support service continuity and fleet reliability
Provide technical guidance and escalation support for complex maintenance issues

Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience leading maintenance or shop operations with direct people leadership responsibility
Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, repair processes, and shop workflows
Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency
Preferred
Two‑year degree or applicable work experience with demonstrated success
Experience managing high‑volume or complex maintenance operations
Proven ability to drive performance improvements through metrics and process discipline
