Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled

Principal Engineer – DFT Lead

to drive Design-for-Test (DFT) strategy and implementation for multi-chiplet power efficient MCU chips. This role requires deep technical expertise in DFT methodologies, leadership in cross‑functional collaboration, and ownership of test architecture to ensure high‑quality, manufacturable designs.

Define and develop DFT methodologies for multi‑chiplet SoCs

Define and implement DFT architecture for multi‑chiplet SoCs, including scan, BIST, and boundary scan

Drive test coverage goals and optimize for cost, performance, and quality

Develop and integrate DFT logic into RTL and physical design flows

Ensure seamless interaction with synthesis, timing closure, and verification teams

Validate DFT features through simulation and ATPG pattern generation

Collaborate with product engineering for silicon bring‑up and yield improvement

Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in DFT methodology

Partner with architecture, design, and manufacturing teams to align test strategies

Qualifications

BTech/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 15+ years of DFT experience

Proven track record in implementing scan, MBIST, LBIST, and JTAG

Expertise in EDA tools for DFT (Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor)

Strong understanding of ATPG, fault coverage analysis, and test compression techniques

Prior experience with chiplet based designs is a strong plus

Strong communication skills (written and verbal), problem‑solving, teamwork, attention to detail, commitment to task, and quality focus

Strong understanding of synthesis, STA, and power optimization techniques

Experience with low‑power designs and multi‑clock domain architectures

Can‑do attitude, openness to new environment, people and culture

Ability to propose innovative and leading‑edge solutions

Strong drive & ability to coordinate work across highly experienced global teams

Work Environment We have adopted a hybrid model that gives employees the ability to work remotely two days a week while ensuring that we come together as a team in the office the rest of the time. The designated in‑office days are Tuesday through Thursday for innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
