Job Description
Join Avient Corporation as a Warehouse Associate and become part of a global team creating materials that make a real difference in people’s lives. This role involves packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping, receiving materials, and completing required paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Pay Hours: 3:45 pm – 12:15 am Days: Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
Unload goods and material received, enter appropriate information into system, label and locate material.
Separate customer orders, pull and stage orders, repack material if required to meet customer specifications; make boxes, pack, label and locate materials.
Ensure all products are properly labeled.
Perform functions/transactions in designated system to receive or ship material.
Participate in cycle counting; enter and verify information; research and make adjustments as necessary.
Review preventative maintenance check sheets for forklifts; ensure good working order of machines.
Follow all safety and work rules and regulations; maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
Handle hazardous waste disposal and transportation if required; complete prerequisite RCRA training.
Operate forklifts, locomotives, track‑mobiles or other heavy‑duty material movers.
Qualifications
High School diploma, General Education Diploma (GED)
Warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experienced in driving a forklift
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals
Strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); ability to use conversions and work with different units of measure
Physical Demands
Required to stand and sit for extended periods, talk and listen
Must walk and use hands; occasional bending, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs
MAY occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Communicate and understand work instructions in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with loud noise levels
Detect and respond to safety alarms
Use personal protective equipment: safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, respiratory protection
Exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and humidity; occasional dust or fumes
