Key Responsibilities

Direct outside drivers and manage the distribution/collection of paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely entry of all Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) and correct delivery ratings.

Assist the Analyst with shipping issues and support FCA/Chrysler Smart and Ford DDL systems, handling system failures and maintaining customer requirements.

Address customer shipping issues, calculate required shipments, modify ERP/MRP picklists, schedule expedites, and coordinate route or part changes with customers and dispatchers.

Answer calls and manage the FCA/Chrysler Smart system, create General Shippers, and process export documentation for overseas shipments (including certificates, invoices, and faxing to brokers or customers).

Execute UPS shipments, create end‑of‑day reports, maintain shipment history, print and distribute daily picklists, and keep a daily shipping log.

Order office supplies, perform miscellaneous office support, and deliver all required documentation with meticulous attention to detail.

Communicate effectively with managers, associates, truck drivers, and other personnel on the shipping docks; report directly to the Technical Analyst/Manager.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Well‑developed typing skills and personal computer experience (MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of multiple computer systems (ERP/MRP, Ford DDL, FCA/Chrysler Smart, GroupWise, Internet).

Preferred knowledge of shipping, receiving, and accounting procedures.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in a professional manner.

Customer service orientation and ability to perform in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with minimal supervision.

Ability to make confident decisions regarding truck shipment modifications.

Training Requirements or Equivalents

New hire orientation.

ERP system training.

Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements

Ability to walk, sit, or stand for extensive periods.

Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.

Ability to work at a computer for 8 hours a day.

Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
