Program Manager II - NYC Partnership Women’s and Reproductive Health - Global Health ISM
In collaboration with the Principal Investigator, the Women’s and Reproductive Health Program Manager will set the direction for multiple care improvement projects and research studies focused on maternal, reproductive, and child health. The Program Manager will play a critical role in coordinating research with collaborators, principal investigators, and funding organizations, and will have managerial responsibilities for their project teams’ day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to prepare proposals for grant submissions and/or funding continuation from extramural sponsors.
Perform needs assessments and analyses regarding community and participant needs as a basis for program development.
Provide support and guidance to research groups and assist the Principal Investigator in submitting IRB applications and progress reports.
Help the Principal Investigator meet targets and milestones, ensuring timely and accurate submission to IRBs, sponsors, and grants management.
Support research dissemination efforts, including manuscript preparation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with communications teams on public outreach, presentation and collateral development, and web site and social media content related to the Principal Investigator’s portfolio.
Execute project management and research coordination processes and methodologies to ensure research goals are delivered on time or revised within budget.
Assemble project plans, team and work assignments, direct and monitor work efforts daily, identify resource needs, perform quality review, and appropriately address functional, quality, and timeline issues. This includes hiring program staff, conducting performance appraisals, promotions, transfers, and other personnel transactions in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
Support research analyses for both quantitative and qualitative data.
Track proposals and other documentation through signature and approval processes in collaboration with the Grants Management and IRB department.
Lead the preparation, submission, and management of grants and contracts, independently handling procurement transactions and working closely with the AIGH Grants & Finance Team to ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional requirements for financial accuracy. Draft budgets and budget justifications, review monthly financials, participate in monthly financial meetings, and address any discrepancies with the AIGH Grants & Finance Team.
Serve as a liaison, facilitate meetings between project stakeholders, consultants, and leadership, and complete and maintain documentation for projects and deliverables.
Supervise engaged students and trainees in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or greater preferred, or a combination of applicable experience and education.
Five or more years of relevant experience.

Compensation The salary range for this role is $64,526.72 – $125,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, education, and operational need. The stated range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
