Hourly rate negotiable, commensurate with experience.**Compensation Type:**Non-Exempt**Employment Type:**Regular**Scheduled Weekly Hours:**40**Grade:**NE03**Department:**Operations Support**Position Summary**This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Wildfire Resiliency Training Center. This is a grant-funded term position.**Duties & Responsibilities******ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS***** Performs clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, photocopying, and electronic communications.* Creates and tracks purchase requisitions and purchase orders for the department and associated grants.* Supports the director and staff as well as contract instructors and other contract staff with academic and course delivery activities.* Generates facility use requests, travel requests, and key requests.* Assists students enrolling in WRTC classes that require additional paperwork* Coordinates and maintains staff and departmental records.* Creates documents using Microsoft Office Suite and other related business software applications.* Performs other duties as assigned.****REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES***** Excellent customer service skills* Strong organizational skills* Good communications skills, both written and oral* Good time management skills* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites applications and business software applications* Problem solving skills highly desirable****WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL FACTORS***** Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
