This position offers daytime hours that align with the school calendar, with summers off. Perfect for someone who values work-life balance and wants to contribute meaningfully while enjoying flexibility outside of traditional 9–5 schedules. The hours can either be Monday - Friday from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm, or Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, depending on the candidate's preference. The position begins on August 20th and ends on May 20th each year.**Specific responsibilities:*** Assist with the setup, service, and cleanup at Ruth’s Marketplace, including meal plan service, dishwashing, and floor cleaning.* Communicate effectively with the Production team to support a smooth and continuous flow of food preparation, sharing timely and relevant information related to batch cooking.* Assist with product rotation, stocking, and inventory management. Maintain clean, organized coolers, freezers, and storerooms assigned to the front-of-house team.* Follow all Dining Services Policies and Procedures and assist supervisors in ensuring all staff follow safety, sanitation, HACCP, and Wisconsin Food Code guidelines.* Perform additional duties as assigned.**Required Minimum Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or equivalent* Food service experience is a plus.* Commitment to a mission-driven environment that is aligned with Catholic, Norbertine, and liberal arts values.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.* Ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers, particularly in conflict situations.* Ability to communicate politely and resolve customer service issues.* Skilled in basic math computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.* Skilled at setting a good example for others.* Ability to concentrate and focus in a noisy environment.The College may consider any equivalent amount of credentials, licensures, training, or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.**Application instructions:**
