Three Rivers College is seeking qualified instructors to teach commercial/industrial plumbing training classes for Workforce Development. Adjunct faculty may also assist with the development of instructional methods and materials for assigned courses which pertain to the course(s) learning outcomes and course description. Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment and may be day or evening.

Instruction will include lectures as well as hands‑on training. Areas may include blueprint reading, pipe fitting, installation of plumbing systems, maintenance, and repair. This role also involves troubleshooting plumbing systems and equipment, enforcing safety procedures and protocols, and ensuring compliance.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated plumbing and construction industry knowledge

Ability to use various presentation methods to lecture and demonstrate within a class or lab environment

Capable of working safely with a variety of plumbing tools and installation operations in a lab environment

Experience of 5‑7 years of full‑time work experience in the residential and/or commercial plumbing industry as well as a current Journeyman License required. Preferred qualifications include associate’s degree or higher in related technology plus 3 years’ experience working in the plumbing industry; Masters plumbers license; Teaching or training experience.
