Registered Nurse (RN) SWAT (Float RN)

Registered Nurse (RN) – SWAT / Float RN
36 hours per week, 7:00pm – 7:30am, every 3rd weekend, holidays rotational.
Responsibilities
Assist the nursing supervisor in maintaining patient flow and transporting monitored patients.
Round on units, connect with charge nurses and new RNs daily.
Respond to all Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls and codes; provide trauma support as applicable.
Identify underlying issues, bring to managers and leaders, and offer just-in-time education and support to the clinical team while maintaining open communication to unit and hospital leadership.
May take a patient assignment on a unit based on need and determined by Manager.
Experience
One year of recent acute care RN experience required.
Five years+ of recent ICU or ER experience preferred.
Education
RN Diploma, ASN required.
BSN preferred.
Licenses / Certifications
PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Provider BLS (American Heart Association / American Red Cross) preferred.
Requirements This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
