Responsibilities
Supervises nursing care provided by RN, LPN, CNA and other staff.
Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
Assesses and evaluates systems that facilitate delivery of quality guest care and staff performance.
Uses systematic approach in nursing process to provide individualized care.
Contributes to guest assessments (MDS/CAA) and development/implementation of plan of care.
Evaluates guests’ responses to nursing interventions.
Understand rational for medication use and administer as needed.
Qualifications
Current state nursing licensure required.
Current CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certification desired.
Management or supervisory experience in long‑term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
