Hunter Creek Health and Rehabilitation in Northport, AL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership skills to lead clinical teams across flexible shifts, oversee resident care plans, mentor LPNs and CNAs, and uphold quality standards in a long‑term care and rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient‑centered nursing care to residents in a long‑term care and rehabilitation setting.
Assess, monitor, and document residents’ health conditions and progress.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health conditions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents.
Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Compassionate, patient‑focused approach to care.
Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS certification a plus.
