About the Role
As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for:
Providing daily care for boarding pets, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and monitoring.
Maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary kennel areas.
Bathing and basic grooming (nail trims, ear cleanings, and anal gland expression).
Assisting veterinary staff with handling pets and ensuring their comfort.
Monitoring for changes in behavior or health and promptly reporting concerns.
Delivering excellent customer service by treating every pet as if they were your own.

This Is Not the Job for You
You are uncomfortable around dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
You don’t enjoy cleaning (a big part of the job is keeping pets and spaces clean and safe).
You have trouble being on your feet for most of the day or lifting.
You aren’t a team player—this role requires strong collaboration and communication.
Anticipated Schedule Full‑time (30 – 40 hours a week)
Shifts between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
