I am partnered with an Electrical Contracting Company with a position open for an Electrical Estimator. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive and outgoing attitude. The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates. Candidates must have experience in the Electrical Industry as an Electrical Estimator to be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to manage and review subcontractors’ and vendor’s bids, proposals, and Bill of Materials
Perform budget pricing from schematic drawing and narrative
Draft scope letters, proposals, and vendor solicitations
Work under deadlines efficiently and in a composed manner
Identify any inconsistent issues, problems, and other issues within bid documents.
Communicate and partner with project managers and general contractors to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time
Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications
Develop and maintain client relationships
Skills and Experience
3 – 5 Years of electrical estimating experience
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience utilizing Estimating software applications
Knowledge of general construction practices
Knowledge of the National Electrical Codes
