Cleaner

Overview Janitorial Cleaners/Porters are responsible for cleaning the building, including the main office, restrooms, cafeteria, main kitchen, food production areas, dish washing stations, warehouse, etc. They work independently in assigned areas in an organized manner.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned areas as per schedule

Maintain cleanliness of office, restrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, food production area, dishwashing stations, warehouse, etc.

Work independently and stay organized

Qualifications

Willing to work in a stressful, time‑oriented environment

Flexible and able to react to changing priorities

Comply with all work rules and regulations

Able to carry and lift 50+ lbs

Able to push/pull up to 50+ lbs for 500 ft

Stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours

Walk/stoop/stand for entire work shift

Use fingers/hands to handle equipment

Work in a high‑stress environment with changing priorities

Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends or holidays

Work overtime when required

Pass a criminal background and drug screen

Wear personal protective equipment as required

Complete pre‑employment audiogram

Be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise

Be active, walking, heavy lifting and pushing 50+ lbs

Work around moving parts and wet floors
