Millwright (House Mechanic) – American Crystal Sugar Company
We are seeking an experienced Millwright (House Mechanic) to join our team, responsible for a range of mechanical tasks essential to our factory operations. This role involves maintenance interventions such as inspection, alignment, and equipment refurbishment, with a focus on optimizing performance.

Pay Range Base: $34.00/hr – $39.00/hr (the actual rate will be based on your skills and experience).
Responsibilities
Inspection, parts replacement, alignment, balancing, installation, and refurbishment.
Understand operating principles of equipment and its role in the overall process.
Optimize equipment performance by collaborating closely with Production and understanding operating parameters.
Perform joining and fabrication activities – weld, cut, braze, and solder various materials, including SMAW and GMAW processes on carbon steel and stainless steel.
Qualifications
2‑year technical degree (e.g., Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Design, Machinist & Toolmaker) OR completion of a state‑approved millwright apprenticeship with a minimum of 2 years of full‑time industrial millwright experience.
OR high‑school diploma/GED with at least 5 consecutive years of full‑time industrial millwright experience.
Additional Requirements
Must pass a millwright, welding, and basic skills test.
Must pass a Safety Screen evaluating ability to perform duties safely.
Schedule Dupont rotation of day and night shifts: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM day shift, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM night shift. Successful candidates must be able to work both shifts.
