Staff Accountant (Finance) Amphenol Cable and Interconnect Technologies Inc.

Summary Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems across at our Snoqualmie, WA and Kent, WA manufacturing sites. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles and all financial reporting is completed on an accurate and timely basis. Provide robust business partnering to the plant leadership team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs general financial accounting, cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting/finance department.

Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

Maintains the general ledger.

Codes invoices, reconciles accounts, and oversees and executes the month end close cycle.

Files required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

Partners with Supply Chain and Manufacturing management to ensure inventory accuracy.

Leads and supports the annual physical inventory process.

Leads and supports fixed asset physical inventories as needed.

Assures financial plans for the site are consistent with organizational goals.

Responsible for managing internal and external audit processes; gathers necessary account documentation.

Functions as a business partner with plant and financial management; provides analysis, counsel, advice and recommendations to help top‑level management make operating decisions and participate in counter‑measure activities.

Manages the capital planning, budgeting and control system including ROI analysis on cost/benefit realization.

Ensures site is in compliance with all corporate and division financial requirements and requests.

Ensures company standard practices and procedures are followed.

Interacts and participates in strategic IT decisions.

Actively participates in Snoqualmie and other business units long‑range planning, play‑to‑win strategies, and annual planning development and execution.

Establishes, implements, and documents short‑ and long‑range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required.

1+ years of experience as Staff/Cost Accountant.

Manufacturing industry experience required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

CPA license preferred.

Language Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Conversational in any other language is a plus.

Job Skills

Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.

Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

Highly proficient with accounting software. SAP experience highly preferred.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Capable of analyzing complex and abstract data; and reasoning and reaching conclusions without continued guidance of standards, precedents, or direction from others.

A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization.

An energetic, assertive individual with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.

Competent in participative management, team approaches and other management techniques for work accomplishment and problem solving.

Must be a self‑starter and be able to meet duties and responsibilities with minimum supervision.

Confidentiality required: Information routinely handled will be proprietary and highly confidential to the corporation and to customers.

Displays effective financial leadership.

Collection and processing of data is done through SAP so experience and training toward effective utilization is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. This role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, and keyboarding. SALARY INFORMATION According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $25.00-35.00 per hour. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Carlisle Interconnect Technologies considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations. Certain roles are also eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases and annual bonus. These awards are discretionary and allocated based on individual and company performance.
