CDL-A Local Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time, $31.74/hr
Deliver and pick up cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center. Load and unload trailers as a dock worker, use forklift as needed. Schedule varies by terminal location.
Responsibilities
Exercise independent judgment regarding building and tearing down trailers, ensuring resource efficiency and compliance with weight distribution laws.
Other duties as assigned.
Load and unload cargo.
Operate a forklift.
Check‑in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up, and pickup and delivery of cargo.
Complete routine paperwork, properly log loading sheets.
Requirements Education:
High School Diploma / GED
Experience
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (less than 1 year may be eligible for training).
Certifications
Class‑A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements
Additional Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age.
Good stable work record.
Safe driving record (MVR and previous employment).
Pass DOT pre‑employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
Shift days and hours may include days, nights, weekends; ability to work required hours is a minimum requirement.
