Responsibilities
Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent and donor safety.
Review laboratory test results and perform serologic protein electrophoresis (SPE).
Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including standing orders and transport to emergency care.
Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for providing guidance on unacceptable donor findings.
Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
Manage employee incidents and coordinate occupational health evaluations.
Coordinate pandemic investigations and COVID‑19 support per EHS guidance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
Licensed EMT‑Paramedic in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
Current CPR and AED certification.
Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
Complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
Location USA – TX – Burleson
U.S. Hourly Wage Range $22.04 – $30.31
