A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position through the end of the school year in a K-12 school setting located near Winchester, Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to work with pediatric students while contributing to their communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing and writing IEPs
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is required
Experience or credentialing in school-based speech-language pathology or pediatric practice preferred
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or current CFY eligibility in school settings
Knowledge of school regulations and ability to navigate IEP processes effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
Location and Duration
Position available now through the end of the current school year
Located approximately one hour from Chattanooga, TN, and Murfreesboro, TN (which is 45 minutes from Nashville)
Contract assignment covering a full academic semester
