Porter

Job Description: We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Porter/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in both the warehouse and office areas of our food distribution facility. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations by ensuring all workspaces are clean, safe, and organized, in compliance with hygiene and safety standards specific to food environments.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, equipment, and common areas

Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly

Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in office spaces, breakrooms, and restrooms

Refill soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and other supplies as needed

Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely

Follow all safety and sanitation procedures required in a food handling environment

Assist with light maintenance tasks as directed by management

Report any damage, spills, or safety hazards

Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift

Experience in janitorial or porter work, preferably in a warehouse or food-related setting

Attention to detail and strong work ethic

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment
