TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate and driven physician to join our post‑acute care team in Dover, Delaware. This full‑time position (5 days per week) involves rounds in skilled‑nursing facilities and offers excellent support, training, autonomy, and earning potential.
Compensation is fee‑for‑service, with an estimated annual range of $261,128 to $309,354 and no cap on productivity income. Future opportunity for facility medical directorship provides additional monthly compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach.
Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Current physician license in Delaware and DEA registration.
Experience in post‑acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred but not required; new graduates welcome.
Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with a positive outlook.
