Early Childhood Educator for Human Services Organization
PathWays has been providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Sullivan and Lower Grafton Counties for over 50 years. Our Family-Centered Early Support and Services (FCESS) group focuses on children 0 to 3 years old. This full-time position requires direct service at families’ homes and mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities
Conduct developmental assessments for children under 3, addressing motor, communication, cognition, social/emotional, and self‑help skills.
Provide direct support, case notes, and service coordination for assigned children.
Participate in weekly team and in‑service transdisciplinary meetings.
Act as liaison between families, children, and community agencies.
Coordinate 6‑month reviews, annual evaluations, and new IFSPs; secure releases, consents, medical information, and family changes.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in child development, early childhood education, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
Functional knowledge of best‑practice support strategies and treatment techniques for children 0 to 2 years.
Eligibility to obtain a New Hampshire license in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
2–3 years minimum experience working with 0 to 3‑year‑old children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with young children, parents, and teammates.
Additional Requirements
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule and travel throughout Sullivan and Lower Grafton County.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required.
Willingness to work in both office and family home settings.
Proof of eligibility for employment in the U.S.; passing a criminal background, MVR and BEAS check, OIG Exclusion List check, and DCYF check.
Must be 18 years of age or older per NH state regulations; proof of high school diploma or equivalent; passing a TB test.
