Transplant Nephrology Clinician‑Educator Faculty Position
Tulane University School of Medicine is recruiting a clinician‑educator for the Section of Nephrology & Hypertension and the Tulane Transplant Institute. The role combines Transplant Nephrology and General Nephrology responsibilities. The percent spent in each area depends on program needs and candidate interest.
Responsibilities
Oversee inpatient services for acute and chronic kidney disease, dialysis, fluid and electrolyte, and kidney transplant.
Provide outpatient evaluation and management of transplant patients and associated medical conditions.
Administer transplant waiting list management and maintain compliance of the transplant program.
Participate in teaching and clinical programs for residents, fellows, and medical students.
Cover on-call duties on a rotating basis; attend inpatient services with fellows and perform outpatient duties on a continuing basis.
Qualifications
Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and candidates completing fellowship encouraged to apply.
Entry level seniority; full‑time employment.
