Covenant Living is the nation’s sixth‑largest nonprofit senior living provider. This role supports the care of older adults in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care facilities.
Responsibilities
Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants, ensuring high standards of care.
Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
Motivate LPNs and CNAs assigned to the unit.
Explain nursing procedures and assist staff to maintain ongoing training.
Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and recommendations.
Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff, physicians and families.
Ideal Candidate
Graduate of an approved nursing school.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado.
Minimum one year of nursing experience.
Devotion to professional nursing standards.
Ability to assess problems, plan and evaluate solutions in relation to supervising LPNs, nursing assistants and resident needs.
Patience, tact and excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
Compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
Strong human‑relation skills and ability to monitor and direct activities of others.
Availability for work beyond normal hours, on weekends, holidays and other shifts as needed.
Compensation Hourly rate: $36.90 – $46.93.
