Job Overview
The GIS Specialist/Mapping Analyst will work with all departments at Reagan Smith including wildlife, archaeology, permitting, land etc in developing project maps and field maps while interpreting data and designing projects. No two projects are the same. There are opportunities for field visits and field data collection. The analyst will also work with the Mapping Manager in adapting and growing our GIS Enterprise software.
Responsibilities You will work with the mapping team in researching, processing, and ultimately mapping a variety of datasets. There will be an emphasis on data quality, analysis, and documenting your methodology. These projects support the strategic goals for our software and business. You will experience firsthand how the data you compile is used for archaeology, conservation, oil and gas regulation, renewable energy, and much more.

Qualifications Applicants should have a degree in Geography, GIS or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
