The Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician (EDAT) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The EDAT works in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care, is a valued member of the patient care team, and functions under the direction of the RN. Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Licenses & Certifications
AAMA Certified Medical Assistant Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certified Nursing Assistant Basic Life Support (BLS) Registered Medical Assistant Additional Qualifications
1 year experience preferred. EMT, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant (Certified, Registered) required. BLS required. Minimum Required Experience
1 year preferred. EOE, including disability/vets.
